A View from Sevierville.

I took the Pugsley for a pootle around town today and came upon a little park/cemetery.

I guess the park is on the site of where this church used to be.

This flagpole is surrounded by a circle with benches to sit on all the way around. In the background are some of the past and present flags of the area.

Forks of the River Cemetery Park.

The Tennessee state flag is in the middle below the US flag (scroll up to flag picture).

The North Carolina and former State of Franklin flags are on the left (scroll up to flag picture).

The Sevier County flag on top and Sevierville flag on bottom on the right side of flags picture (scroll up).

A little history on the State of Franklin. And another page from Wikipedia.
